Words Story is a unique word game where solving anagram puzzles advances a gripping prison escape narrative. The protagonist — a man falsely convicted of murder — must use his wits to escape, and each puzzle represents one day of his ordeal.

Each level (called a "Day") presents scrambled letters. Rearrange them to form the correct words. As you succeed, the next chapter of the story unlocks. Tips for Tough Words Story Days

Color feedback in Words Story works like Wordle: yellow means the right letter in the wrong spot, blue (or green) means the right letter in the right spot, and no highlight means the letter is not in the word at all. Use this to narrow your anagram candidates quickly.

Start with the most common 4-5 letter patterns: -TION, -MENT, -NESS, RE-, UN-. Anagrams with double letters are often easier to crack by spotting the pair first. Save your coins for the hardest Days — later levels get significantly more complex as the narrative tension rises.
